Mindfulness – General Imagery for Healing uses imagery focusing on warmth and sensation of relaxing for any region of the body that is experiencing pain. This track can be used for sleep as well as a guided relaxation exercise throughout the day. Progressive imagery and relaxation help to slowly guide the patients awareness internally. This track uses more generic wording and can be used to help patients with pain in a variety of places in the body. The use of imagery helps to reduce areas of the body experiencing pain by guiding their focus to these painful areas and helps them to relax through breathing techniques and visualization.
